It could be a worn pull rod bearing, though they do tend to be quite robust.

With 38000 on the clock it is worth taking the clutch cover off to have a look & take off the crank & balance shaft nuts so you can inspect the parts they hold on.
These nuts do come loose so you'd be getting ...

The rebound adjuster is meant to "click", I think not clicking means you probably just have dirt in the mechanism.

I had my shock re-built by a shop, I don't think there's a XTZ shock re-build on the forum.

You might struggle finding a frame, a lot of the breakers I know stopped selling frames through fear of being implicated with criminal types, some still do though.

What's wrong with your frame?

The wire grounds through what ever it's supplying voltage to, so any lights that are on or electronic gizmos in use the wire will ground through.

The balance shaft nut can also come loose, they both need checking with a torque wrench.

If the noise started after your power and neutral light problems there's a good chance all 3 are related, something loose floating round your engine like a broken cam chain link :scratch ...

As Jibber says, the important part is a true crank, but only get this done if you need to split the cases to mend something else or you're planning a complete overhaul.

It's a single, they can't be balanced in the same way an inline twin, triple or four can as in making pistons & rods all the same ...
