I haven’t logged in for almost a year but I have enjoyed catching up on the various topics and in particular Dan’s 1VJ resto project.

I still have my own 1VJ in my cramped garage. I didn’t put much miles on it last year but hopefully this year I will be able to use it in the summer ...

I could only spare an hour working on the 1VJ, not enough time for me to reinstall the carb’s. I removed and replaced the hardened hoses from the fuel pump.
Question.
At the base of the fuel pump I noticed a small retaining bracket, but I’m not sure what it for.
