I found one on e bay in Italy but it looks black and charred £150 too.

They’re obviously shut for the weekend but I’ve looked on their website and nothing’s listed for an 80’s XT 600

It’s away being tested atm, I imagine it’s just the wires as that was the case with the other one, this guy repaired it best he could but I don’t think it will last long.
Well at least having one made is an option.
