Frame to something immovable, otherwise they can just lift it into a van. Also park it somewhere open and visible and ideally where several points from which it can be approached. Oxford do tall adventure bike covers. Have one on the T7 which is massive compared to my 1VJ.
As for locking. Always find a gap in the frame. If the chain is too big, use one of the ungrindable d locks between chain and frame.
Look at litelock.
