:birdgrin: it's been a while and things have changed.. I have sent the engine from my 49L to Adalaide to put into the tenere. It arrived to the bike today. I fly down on the 14th of next month to transplant the engine and go over the rest of the bike. Then it's a 3-4k journey home to the gold coast ...

Thanks for offer of assistance Dzl. Sorry I will be freighting engine back home to rebuild later. Yes I am aware the electric start engine is wider. Have read the drive sprocket needs to be altered and counter sunk screws used on the cover plate behind the sprocket. along with 3mm needs to be packed ...
