So the 3AJ has been off the road for 12 months and I'm finally getting round to reviving it.

It cut out during a particularly heavy period of rain and therefore I assumed it was and electrical/ignition gremlin. All connections have been pulled and cleaned/greased. The HT lead has been cut back to ...

Are you sure its oil?
My 3aj lays a brown little puddle like that first time i put it on the side stand if it was raining when i put it away, guess its water trapped in the frame somewhere that cant escape untill i've rocked the bike about a bit and then lean it over on the side stand...
