I am restore my 34L from 1983 and I have some issues.

Rear rim is old DID and it is rusted, but I manage to sand blast all of nasty rust. And put now powder coat im gold color. Also all spokes are plated with new zink coat.

But I miss some rear spokes, so if some one have 5 of old ...

I cant find pickup coil same shape like mine it is not normal. I have 2 pickup coils from another XT model it is same shape of the body of coil same oms on the coil wire. But brackets are not the same. I have two like that.

I know that my pickup is temporary fix at best solution. I just need one ...

I dont know what to do, my pickup is working now but it is in bad shape. A have two more ok pickup-s from 3AJ 1VJ it is the same pickup like mine and it same number on the body of pickup A-1. But the brackets are not the same. I just need one ok pickup for 34l and i will be happy.

Hello again, i found today a used but ok pick up coil from 1990 XT 600. Pickup have the same 120 oms coils like my on 34L but it have different bolt pattern.

Is is posbile to use rotor stator coil everything from that 90 engine end putt on my XT 34L from 1983. Thank you in advance.

I put hot sodering iron on the pickup, i tray to cut out broken coil from plastic mass to see what is inside. And when i see that plastic is very very nasty i stop.

Just for last check u put my ohm meter again on wires and i have good resistance on both solenoid about 120 oms. I it is strange.

Hello i have XT600 Tenere 34L, i it is complete bike but it is bike from 1983 so it need a litle love. It is in very ruff shape.

But nothing is broken on the bike like no foot stand no light no exhaust, all is ther but it neads litle paint and polishing. I wount to do a restoration on this bike ...
