Well.

Looks like a TT350 rear spring is about 6kg/mm.

A DR650 spring is a few mm shorter and 6.5kg/mm and almost works.
A little short but I got it to 9% static and 33% race sag.

Mmmm...
New 2nd hand scissor lift...

10w oil instead of the stock 5w and...
Bleeding, bleeding, bleeding, bleeding, bleeding, bleeding, bleeding, bleeding...

Finally...

DR650 spring...

$57 bump stop...

180psi of nitrogen and it's (almost) all done...
Next time it's apart, I'll get another groove machined 10mm lower on the body as the DR spring is 5mm shorter than the TT one.

13-15 clicks out (5 is stock) and it works quite nicely. No leakage down the shaft, and the bladder seems to be holding pressure.
Tracks well over bumps/rocks but that could also be down to the trials rear at 10psi :D

Works well for a $57 rebuild...

What are the symptoms of worn cam chain guides?

Vibes at lower revs that weren't there before and go away about 5-6,000rpm?

Chain and guides have about 350hrs on them.

Need guides, head gasket, clutch cover gasket???

Order a chain as well?

Just measured up a YZF250 front wheel.
The bearings are 20x37x9, the TT ones are 15x35x11.
I should be able to get some 15x37x9 ones locally.
That'll get it fitting on the TT axle. Get some new external and internal spacers turned up...
Then it's just spacing out the calliper for the 250mm disc from the 230mm TT one...

Bonus is a nice strong wheel with good spokes and an Excel rim that has no corrosion/rotting.

On the down side, reading what needs to be done makes it sound more and more difficult...
The annoying thing is that it's the rear rim(s) that really need replacing. Lots of rot. 32 hole alloys are difficult to find for a reasonable price.
Don't even know if I can get spokes for the rear any more.

On the plus side, a guy in the States found a DRZ rear disc brake calliper mount actually fits the XT350 swingarm, so there's hope there...

For the rear it's the "PRODUCT OBSOLETE" on the spokes and the $315US rim that have me looking for something else...

Wow. Just read the manual and found the rear shock has 212psi of nitrogen in it...

I refilled my res with 180psi thinking it was overkill.

May go back for some more as I feel a little more anti-bottoming would be nice...
