So this sort of scheme but with your own touch right? (candy apple red and silver smoke)



Are you going/or have you practised on a bit of cardboard or anything? i know your history of paint mate but i was just curious.

No two smoke paint jobs are the same. So I am going to wing it. I have been playing with, is the red candy. I have bought some 70's style red metal flake off ebay.

A bit of week end garage time. Friday day afternoon, some 2 pak hi fill primer.



Up early, but not bright to spend hours blocking back the primer.

Ready for the easy part, well almost. A bit silver base, followed by read candy.



The red and silver are very similar to the 79 R100T. Half way there. Still need to do the gold pinstripe on tank, fairing and mudguards and a 2 pak clear over the whole lot.

Never tried a R90s Smoke scheme before.

Really hard to tell Mezo. Every photo I look at. The tail on the tank is different.

I guess it doe not really matter as it is my bike and not a show pony.
