Bit of a slow week in camp Tenere South. It is about time I thought myself how to cook Tenere parts.

No fly's on Mezo. One of my other eccentric mates dropped this off on my door step a while ago. With a note saying " I think the Tenere could use this". The guy with the 3 wheel Morgan replicaMEZO wrote:![]()

Interesting Watson!

Re: Just Dan's little resto on a 34L Tenere'
Far from being a success. What a mess. Far easier to go to the bolt shop and buy new ones. Have not got a clue as to why it is like like this.

Re: Just Dan's little resto on a 34L Tenere'
Dan,like Mezo said they must be very clean!
I cleaned each one by using a sandpaper tool on my drilling machine(dont know the name of it in english) Mezo.......help here
Then used the dremmel for removing on the heads the rest of sand and dirt.
Then they where hand sanded if needed.
The galvanizer sinks them into a degreaser fluid. Then a zinc plaque removing process and then they are zinc coated again.I would recomend you to find such pro in the area.Believe me they do that every day.My pieces look as new!
