I spoke to these guys earlier in the year when I thought my 660 stator was kaput.... dunno how much they charge for repair/rewinds but worth a call, they can also upgrade your stator at the same time..

5 years using SUZUKI DR650 stator on my 3DS (3AJ), its more powerfull, bought in US

Don`t think that will fit on the kicker bikes Jan, but i have heard guys using them on the e-start.
