Hi again, everyone. It's been a while. I'm still in the Philippines and my Tenere is in pieces. I need to do a few things to it and I'll be replacing the 5th gears.

Are 3aj gear pairs the ones to go for or are 1995 3tb ones better? If so, do the 3tb gears fit without modification? Sorry to ask but I heard that 3aj ones are no better so I'm not sure what to do.

The old 1vj is also getting a3aj top end, a disk brake on the rear (I'm fed up with emptying the drum out after riding through a flood) a bigger oil cooler and a coat of paint. I'm trying to cobble together an exhaust for it too. Plus I'm replacing the conrod owing to small end wear.
