Nice one Eric.
Is it a Tenere or an XT, I can't seem to see oil cooler tabs on the frame.

Looks like a Tenere (shorty seat, ribbed swing arm, forks)

Correct Blackshark, the man-woman

(had these

) that I bought it off said there were many calls about vin numbers and people wanting bits and pieces. Will probably use the wheels(if they are not corroded) and the forks on the 39E 000160 resto.

I enquired about the frame number in case it was a match for the frameless 39E engine i have. having said that, whenever i see one for sale i do ask about its numbers.

Been a bit bored so I got the Belgarda frame out and cut the rear end off and cut the rear end off a 34L frame that has no compliance plate and joined them together. So now I will have the Belgarda running gear but can use the 34L's seat, tank, panels etc. It seemed an easier option then trying to fit the suspension into an original 34L frame.Need to find some new engine cases as the Belgarda's are broken, very strange engine, later model elec starter style but kick only and runs no battery, double valve springs etc.

After measuring everything twice I bite the bullet and got the mig out.Going to be a slow process but a fun one with a few challenges to over come and not costing anything to mock it right up to a complete bike.
