Where do you get these stickers?

I had the replacement swing arm back from the powder coaters recently.
Much better condition to start with.



I'll get the new bushes and bearings in it and post some more photos.



The plan is to get the machine MOT'd and shake down miles over the summer. I'll swap the swing arm out over winter, and maybe make a brand new loom.

Some details.
Here I have a very handy tool to seat the needle bearings without undue force.


A set of genuine Yamaha bushes, no point trying to use the old ones, do it once, do it properly. Pulled in using the same technique as above.


Basically done but needing decals and grease nipples reinstalled.

I'll get some photos up of the finished article including decals.

Would there be any interest if I offered a service exchange on major components like swing arms, front ends etc?
It should enable the replacement of large components in a much quicker turnaround time. You be able to have the front or rear end refurbished and sitting there ready to swap before the dismantling starts.
Obviously a deposit on top of the cost of the refurbed parts would have to be charged to cover none return or parts that couldn't be used again.
Just thinking out loud really at this point!

It's not a bad idea, for complete swingarms with linkage. Can't imagine there'd be much of a turnover though.

How did you plug all holes for the swing arm? Or did the powdercoater do that for you?

hi, any good powder coating business will make sure bearing surfaces and threads are covered up.
Always use a powder coater that specialises in motorcycles and cars.

I'm happy with this now.
