This 'new' plug saw 15 minutes run time. It's running a tad rich.

Job done, using the cheap Chinese made carb.
All fitted as expected,re jetted with mikuni jets and matched with a cheap cable and twist grip.
The boots to airbox needed minor mods but all fits and looks standard.
It does not go standard, this machine is now a beast, pulls hard with my 115 kg load and keeps pulling hard to 140 kph, where I backed off.
Easily ridden smoothly but highly responsive if given a handful.

The boots and carb bolt straight on, a bit of minor airbox boot mod,a new twist grip and cable to suit,re-jetted with mikuni jets.
All fits well and looks standard, but !!!

Hello people of teneres! I am new to this forum and i recently bought a used tenere xtz 660. After a short time i bought it, it started to run bad.. felt a bit tricked.. the previous owners have tried to repair the carbs with epoxy and ye..
So i am looking for a new pair of carbs. Do any1 have a complete how to list for the raptor convertion? I would really appriciate it, i am quite clueless right now on what to do...
Kind regards from a clueless and confused Norwegian. Thx
