Last month at the ABR Festival (https://www.abrfestival.com/) I saw a couple of XTZ750s including this one which was on show at the Yamaha stand. It was French registered and in immaculate condition.

Yes not mine though. That one hasn't had a full restoration. Mine is fully restored now everything rebuilt repainted or replaced as necessary. MOT'd now just sorting out an over fuelling issue and running it in.

How much do you think it would sell for?
I've given mine the full restoration as well >>

Only the market can actually define the price in reality. 4 or 5 years ago one went for £8500.However, that had a full documented engine rebuild by a Yamaha dealer as well as the wheel and all running gear refurbished. There is never really a definitive price for any vehicle - there are guidelines referring to previous sales - but one buyer will decide it's what he or she wants despite the markets previous values.
These bikes are becoming rarer ,and the XT600 variants going up in value.
I know how much I have spent in real terms and would be looking at £8750 for mine.

Hi Mike,I was supposed to display mine at the ABR Festival but unfortunately the body work was delayed at the spray shop- my fault as I dumped it on them 4 weeks before the festival and it came back 1 week after! Just as well as it had fuelling problems when it all arrived pre MOT - I inadvertently set the float needle one notch too low!
Suffice to say it is running like a peach now.

Hi mate,

Very nice bike, what paint code did you use for the bike?

Cheers

Sorry I didn't see this message.I didn't use a paint code as I didn't have one. What I did was find a swatch with the near enough colour and gave this to the paint shop along with the blue disc guards and told them to try to match the colour between the two.
I think they got it spot on.

The gap between on the road XT750s and SORN is ever widening.

In the space of two an a half years the numbers have fallen by a third (18->12)
If that trend continues....

Overall total still holding steady though.

And I just can't believe those numbers ....not a week goes by without me seeing bikes on ebay etc.
