Those on eBay are probably SORN. Why fewer are taxed is anyone's guess but I think this trend will continue. The only time I've seen other S10s in the last 3 or 4 years has been at the ABR festival.

Had mine for two weeks now. Wanted an Super Tenere or an Africa Twin for years. Finally settled on the Yamaha because my other bike is a Yam too at the moment.
Can hardly believe there's only 18 riding around! My other bike is a 1989 FZR400 and apparently there's only 6 left on the road. Mine might be one of two of its model

Well I just got mine Mot'd today so that's another one
Dog rough 3LD (mechanically good though - previous owner did a bad rattlecan job) that will be done up blue with Sonauto theme. Sold my TDR250 recently so glad to have picked this up in the summer last year to keep my old Hayabusa company.
Will do pictures soon. She's ropey

Old post now but just came across it. Here’s mine I’ve had for a few years. All original bar the exhaust and screen and as far as I know The only ULEZ compatible one in London, had the work done a few years ago so I could ride it in London. Not restored but very clean and runs like a clock.

Nice one. What did you have to do for the ulez exempt thing, for future info?

Twintens: very nice.
This is mine, taken a while to get it roadworthy, unfortunately I have just had a hernia op, so can't yet get it to its MOT, it will have to remain sorn'd for another couple of weeks. Crash bars are now on, although not shown in the above pic.

Just revisited this post and saw I never replied, apologies. Getting the bike ULEZ compatible involved taking it to a garage in E London that does the work, they fit a small CAT in the exhaust and then they test it and upload the result to the TFL website. Took a couple of hours and they guarantee compatibility. Cost a touch over £300.00.

Thanks. It'll be a help to anyone in future having to brave the carnage inside the m25.

At the moment my 1vj qualifies just for the ulez.
Whereas if i drove my landy in, it qualifies for everything. £125/day
