VHT brand Shane, i used gloss black engine enamel but they do all colors & if its here in OZ it will be there in NZ id think? I was very impressed with the quality of the product & highly recomend it.

To be honest I haven't got a clue about paint & shit like that.... I reckon Just Dan & Mezo are the guys to talk to about that.... but I reckon the paint that Mez used on his engine is far superior to the PJ1... its bloody hard to find over here though...

Well i thought when i was using it how amazing it was & ive done it many times before over the last few years.

Its like an idiot proof paint, and im no painter but im no idiot at it either but i was thinking at the time any muppet out there could use this product & get a very professional finish to there work, the main thing is just cleaning the engine before you paint it.

Thanks for that Mezo, VHT probably the commonest spray paint brand here -they have it at the local Repco store which is a couple of minutes down the road. Spray paint, oil and fluffy dices their specialties.

I've bought VHT paint over here Geoff, from local motorist discount shops (same logo on the can, not just the abreviation)

Demon Tweeks have the wrinkle stuff.

I'm sure I've seen it at Rufforth in the past, depends who's there & what their wholsalers have in stock. I'll text you next time I see some .

BTW it's Newark autojumble this weekend so Rufforth might be a bit bare. Same place as the "show" but whenever I've been, it's been MASSIVE, about 3 times the length of the 'jumble at the "show" & 4-5 rows deep, it's been a couple of years since I last went, TTB will have a better idea of what it's like now.

I wouldn't mind going to Newark but don't have time this Saturday... I will be at Rufforth though, I need to top up my stainless bolts & a few other bit & pieces.
