It is like you have chosen the coloursheme on this bike especially for the seat.
Oliver
It looks better Oliver, but, I'm still not sure.... think I'd prefer a plain red one...

Legendary work Geoff. Here's three dancing stars for your effort.
BTW, what are your on road costs for a bike like this? (MOT, tax, insurance etc.)

Thanks Dave..... You can get an MOT for around 20-30 quid, depending how friendly you are with the shop/garage... insurance for one of these with an agreed value of 4-5 grand is 100 quid (depending on age experience) & road tax is £53 .... once the bike is 25 years old (it may be 30) road tax is free...

Still got a slight oil leak on Tenere 2 where the crank case was damaged by some

who never owned up to it, (you'll have to read my 3TB engine thread if you don't know what I'm on about) so I've decided to fix it before I start an other project....
First of all I'm gonna drain the oil over the weekend, then lay the bike down on a big piece of foam, scrape off all the old epoxy stuff I tried to fix it with... then I'm gonna have a go with this stuff that Dave kindly sent over from Oz.... Thanks Dave
if that doesn't work then I'm gonna have to remove & split the engine again

.... I already have a crankcase half ready for the job & the engineering company that was supposed to have repaired it in the first place are gonna match it up to the other half & do any work neccessary free of charge...which they bloody should do & they should supply me a new gasket set too....
