On the Michelin Mousses I think I will be in the same boat so lets see - I only have a front mousse. I have ordered and will take in my hand luggage ultra heavy duty Michelin tubes. Tyre choice for me was a bit of a strange outcome as supply seems to be a bit of an issue at the moment. I had gone with Dunlop EN91 Enduro tyre which can take the weight of a KTM 950R at 200 kg so fine for the 3AJ and seem to be a good all rounder. At first as advised on this forum I went for 120 on the rear but they looked tiny so wanted a 140 rear rally tyre which I struggled to find within my short time frame. The tyre guy who got me the Dunlops had a Mid Hard 140/80x18 Michelin Enduro tyre so opted for that and still plenty of room. Will be interesting to see how it lasts :riding:

Interestingly the 120 Midas on the NX650 looks as wide as my Michelin 140 and apparently I am told widths differ greatly on all makes.

Dropped my bike off with mates other 3AJ and a modded NX650. With new suspension on think I am going to need to get some platforms or learn to ride like Gaston Rahier. At least one of us is 6'4' so he can hold it whilst I get on

We made the drop off with an hour to spare and some interesting bikes there. However the 2005 KTM that was there is cheating somewhat. Think your bike James was in the warehouse. Saw a blue 3AJ

Good to see the range of bikes in the warehouse Mike.

After the Kielder 500, I think my MotoZ Enduro's are only going to perform for 2,000K, as they have lost about ~2mm after 700K. The grip was faultless and I was totally amazed at how hard I could brake on the front wheel without any loss of traction - had to perform a few emergency stops, to avoid missing turns during the rally :pleasesir: :nordie:

I also really appreciated how light they were, almost 50% lighter than the MotoZ Adventures.

I also bought one of these GiantLoop motorbike tents in a flash sale.

Wonder if they had any orders. 😁

I will have to try the MotoZ Enduros at some point but have to stick with what I have for now.

That KTM is cheating a bit!

Yes, almost everything arranged now thanks.

Your Tenere is looking good :-)

Sandraiders are prepping the bikes for shipping to Maroc. I just managed to make out my blue 3AJ amongst them.

There appears to be a lot of old Africa Twins.

And some unusual bikes, maybe old scramblers?

Looks Fantastic, I'm in Edinburgh too , can we met up when your back. Sorry for the billy no mates sounding post but really look to hook up with people who do this stuff rather than just talk about it…

Safe travels and will follow how the trip goes……
