Hey Burnie that jet that was blocked is the pilot jet, I had the same problem. Oh and the seat cover slowly stretchers after some use and the gap will close a bit, just the wrong pattern cover which means you really have to pull it tight to get the wrinkles out and in doing so you actually bend the seat up at the front.

That hard to find jet really stuffed me up! I now have a lot of oil smoke out of the exhaust. Worried I nipped it up by running lean and hot and done some damage to the bore. I am going to send in my new boroscope usb camera and have a squiz :sherlock:

OK guys I have just put the 'endoscope' down the plug hole(piston at bottom of stroke) Here is what I found.

Nostrel and hair shot to give you an idea of scale!!!!
It is all a bit wet with oil and there are some verticle lines--- but compared to the hone marks are they bad!!!! What are your thoughts????? :sherlock:

Yes, at the back of the bore, but it is not really a score: more of a mark? :bigeek: Maybe I should do a couple hundred Kms :nordie: and see if it gets better. If not then a rebore as bore is std now.

That's what I'd do. & a few more after that for good measure.
You've barely started running/breaking/bedding it in (or what ever you call it in Oz :scratch: )
