Finally had some time to go to the powder coater and got my center stand.

That looks very close to the swingarm. 
Are you sure its not going to rub & wear the paint?

no, I don't think the swingarm would be an issue. I'm rather concerned about the chain that risks to touch the center stand when doing any serious off-roading. Should be OK on tarmac though.Mezo wrote:That looks very close to the swingarm.

Hello,
the work has to slow down a little. I could however, clean the carburetor. The bike had some problems when starting cold and I wasn’t sure about the state of carburetor. First, I cleaned it myself with a carburetor cleaner and I wasn’t satisfied with the result. Then I gave it to a guy with an ultrasonic cleaner and then the difference could be seen.

Hello,
my 3AJ rebuild continues...
I wasn't confident with the standard front brake. After a close call that I have some months ago I decided to work on the breaking power. I had 2 solutions :
1) Install bigger brake disc with an appropriate brake adapter
2) Change the front disc, suspension.
I've opted for the second option. I've installed the front suspension, brakes, etc. from an XTZ 750 - the idea that I saw in Geoff's restoration topic.
The spokes, the rim are new. Everything else was reconditioned.
Below is the result :
