Has anyone got my old 1996 Yamaha XTZ660 reg P694 ONG

We went travelling for months on ths bike when we were 18 and would love to buy it back for sentimental reasons! Please- find me my old bike!!

Bike' registered as "Blue". It basically looks identical to this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-XT-660 ... 5899194f25 (I thought it was mine!).

We spent months riding it around Eurooe, eventually running out of money in N Africa! Was a great bike, ideal for the job!

I'd love to ave it back, show my kids what mum and dad rode! I even have all the luggage we used for it, so can mock up exactly how it was!

I've checked, and its taxed and insured, so def still around! It's had 5 owners since I let it go!

I know the DVLA will give out registration information to parking companies, ect, ect. They will also give that information to individuals if you have a good enough reason, you could try writing to them. Or do you know any friendly clampers or maybe a friendly copper

P.S. My 1989 3AJ "Sally" took me round the world for 4 months 28000 + miles, she now sits in a heated gararge but I still use her regular. I know your pain !!

Impressive... We only managed 12k in 4 months! We were bumming around in hotels in Greece for 4 weeks of it, hence running out of money!!

We did do the Gaza Strip twice though... That was interesting!

I've spent ages trying to find my old XR600 for similar reasons.... the DVLA won't give any info, even if you pay 'em..... Good luck..
