Ahhh..... brings back memories those Welsh lanes.... I broke my wrist on the Claerwen dam road (scaphoid) still got a steel pin in there....
The monks trod was one of my favourite's... closed now I think

Thanks but my trail riding days are over.... apart from a few gentle trails around here (North Yorkshire etc).... after over 25 years of trails, enduro's & long distance trials..... I've had enough... my final event (after spending several yrs glued to the telly watching them) was the Tunisian rally in 1996... I could never afford, nor have the ability to compete in the Paris Dakar.... I did think about it though
Having said all that some of those long gravelly type roads in Oz & South Africa look very appealing.... just need 6 numbers up on the lotto...

Funnily enough, I watched the 1996 Optic 2000 Rallye Tunisia tonight.
