Carb boots

Been a while since i posted on here about my ongoing project 3aj but I have sort of made some progress - kind of anyway

Fuel tank cleaned out with vinegar and new seals fitted to the fuel taps.

New battery and spark plug purchased and fitted

But: Good compression but not starting

Mate came around with much more knowledge and he checked out the fuel pump and he thinks the diaphragm is OK
When taking off the carb the Carb boots came off and the rubber has degraded as you can see :

As you should be able to see there is alot of white powder and we think it was letting air into the engine and probably stopping it from starting.

Any advice on this would be most helpful

I guess the most useful info would be does anyone know where I can get replacements cheaply?

BTW I live in the UK

Cheers Shadwell

i just picked up another 3aj from in dorset, it has knackered inlet rubbers, it wont start as there is to much air around which is making the vaccum reduced for the fuel pump, i bought some inlet rubbers off of ebay for my 550, they where sh*te, i only get OE stuff for the xts, cant do with issues and paying out for the same parts every few years.
Any one got any tatty white 3aj side panels to get rid of??
