Engine vibration

My 52,000 mile xtz 750 has been running fantastically since I have owned it ( 3 yrs ) However it has suddenly developed a vibration which kicks in at around 4000 rpm when you start to get fairly fine vibrations through the handlebars and footpegs. Anyone got any ideas before I start stripping down?

Idea one, don't strip anything down 'till you know what you are fixing.

Idea two, does it vibrate in all gears at 4000rpm?

Idea two, what condition is the rear chain and sprockets?

Idea three, this engine has two balance shafts, maybe chain has stretched and jumped a tooth?

Thanks for comments. Does it in all gears and neutral so definitely in engine not drivetrain.

Check for loose bodywork, heat sheilds & guards.

Also do a plug chop, ride the bike, while it's vibrating kill the engine & pull the clutch in then check the spark plug colour.
You might have worn jets.

I have exactly the same issue, 4000 revs in any gear and the vibration and noise get noticeably worse. any ideas?

Me too, exact same thing. Would be good to get to the bottom of this.

Just thinking out loud here, could it be as simple as a carb balancing is needed?
Mine does exactly the same.
