Good evening fellas, hope all is well.
Firstly thank you to all those that helped with my brain fart moment of oil loss panic, checked it with engine running...... all good :DICKHEAD:

Another poser for you, I have looked to see if this has been mentioned before but couldn't find any threads.
Is it possible to make my seat more appealing for longer journey's as numb bum kicks in around 70 odd k and in my book that is not far enough
I do have a delicate posterior and the motorway is literally a pain for a short length of time.

I do like Geoff's seats, either colour looks great (BLUE) but
what is it from?
can it be made a little wider?
is there a straight swap, maybe an FJR?
am I asking stupid questions? :tosser:

Again, I bow to the more knowledgeable than me.

Any thoughts would be lovely

Have great weekend

Brer

You could scoop a bit of foam out & replace with gel.... that would probably do the trick...

I use cycling shirts or the padded under pants, under my biking trousers, I sat on my bike for two weeks with no issues

I use bike shorts but also a Airhawk on my 1999 XTZ660, the Airhawk does get in the way in rough going and does not stay in one place, but it is comfy.

First of all Mezo, I'm going to explain here a personal experience. I do not have any comercial links with this person, and my intention is only let the people know how this guy works. If considered that this is not the propper place, pelase, tell me about it.
Here in Spain we have this guy http://lolopamanes.es/ that rebuild your seat in many ways, even instaling a heating system. Of course all depends on the amount of money do you thinkk to spend. I've met him in a motorbike meeting, and he is open to any request for your seat, about confort he uses gel and memory foam, and about the covers, depends on the color, color of the tread, leters or whatever embroidery you want, heated seats ready to plug and play, etc... I've seen some of those seats, and I have talk with some of his customers, and all of them are satisfied with him. You can go to his workshop, or do it by courier service, they take the seat from you at your home, and return back at your door in three-four days.
I know of at least one Ténéré 3AJ seat that he have restored, and mine will follow the same way, to reduce the height of the seat, and new cover (original one is cracked)
