Has anyone fitted a shindengen reg/rec conversion to their XT? ..... if so where did you source the parts, etc....

straight forward, followed enclosed instructions, I actually got 2 at the same time, 1 to go onto an XT, but not got round to it. See no reason why it should not be as simple on a Yam, the 3 alt wires to one plug, order not important,, red to battery, black to earth, though if I remember correctly, I think I ran it to battery as well, not really sure. It also managed to get through on shipping without getting picked up for charges.

I have got the one Noely mentioned, the only thing I found is that it is a little higher (thicker) than the standard one so had to find some longer studs to attach it to the frame!
