Not sure were to post this - Mezo, move my ass if need be...

I'm looking at getting one of these as I've managed to throw my back out a few times already...anyone have any ideas or other feedback?

A lot of the guys here in Aussie buy these lifters from Repco, they are Chinese jobs but work OK for the money (on special $150)
they can also lift quad bikes as well, they go by the name of "Pro Lift" and can lift 750 kg, they do sell them in SA & are silver in color i think?



The ones we get are painted orange, the Harley guys use them a lot so try searching there, i did se a used one in Joburg for R1200.

The link you posted, Ed, shows a capacity of 135kg, not enough for your bike mate.

I've got one similar to Mezos' pic. They're known a "Hog Hoists" around here (I don't like the harley reference but it's a usefull tool). It's length makes it more stable than the one in your link & they come with a handle which makes it easier to push your bike around

Yeh we get the same here except they are red, my daughter bought me mine for Crimbles when i first got my bikes, much to my wifes displeasure( she has come round now though) I think she paid about $70 on sale!

I have the burger royal version from chicken feed (harbor freight) Takes up vital space when not in use.

What was that worth Dan? (your burger Royal) and could have taken a pic with the Tenere on it.

It was about $400 from Radum. Radum is the chicken feed of garage equipment.

There are a couple of other ways of skinning this cat guys - by building your own stand.
