Yamaha tenere 1992 tyre fitment

Hello,

I have been searching online for new tyres for my yamaha XTZ 660 Tenere. Last season I have been using Pirelli rallycross and they were great, but I do like 50% offroad and 50% onroad, so decided to look for something that would last a little bit longer. After reading a lof of reviews, decided to go for one of these:

• Michelin anakee wild
• Motoz tractionator adventure

The problem is the tenere recommends 120/90 r17 rear tyre, and neither of my chosen ones come in that size, but they do come in 130/80 r17.
The question is would my yamaha tenere be able to fit these tyres and if so, wouldn't anything rub against the chainguard?
Would really appreciate if you gave me any kind of suggestions, share your experience. I would like to hear what tyres are you using. Also, would love to see the photos if you have mounted the anakee wilds / tractionator adventures!

I've got a 130/80R17 on my 4MY.... but it's a Metzeler Tourance,... got tons of room though.


I do have the Anakee Wilds on a 600 .. there's loads of room there too, I think you'll be ok
