I have been eyeing out this bike, I'm gonna list it's issues, please tell me if it's a good buy. Price is around 2000€.
The owner seems to have taken quite good care of the bike it has 44000kms on the clock and it's the 94 model.
I asked him to tell me everything that's wrong with it, he told me that the tank drips some fuel when the valve is not closed. That some of the handlebar switches need maintenance with contact spray. Also that the starter switch has an issue, he said that he got used to it and it's a non-issue for him (something to do with the key or the lock mechanism).
The bike also had it's engine rebored and as you can see it got repainted. He is giving me everything that's in the picture. I like the way it looks, but I'm probably gonna give it a vinyl design on top of the blue.
I'm gonna go check the bike out soon what should I look out for? What should I bring with me? Is it a good deal? Is it easy to find switches for replacements? The bike needs nee tires which ones should I get? I would like something off-roadable but also good for the roads.
