Hello everyone,

Thank you for letting me in.

I have bought, here in The Philippines, a Swiss import xt600z ivk. It's an early one, one of the first 200 made. It shows 60000km on the odometer and even though it is 35 years old now the general condition of the bike suggests that's genuine.

It's largely unmolested and complete. Problems so far I've found are a cracked oil filter cover and incorrect inlet manifolds which leak.

This is my first Tenere and I love it.

Jolyon.

Nice one bud. Right bike for the place. Bet it’s nice to ride there.

Good one!
It should be a 1VK (not iVK) though.

Differences to 1VJ model only are emissions related (carburettor settings).
