I have the 3AJ service manual available to download. It’s similar enough for my needs. Send me a PM.

There is no 43F manual,
they used to have an addendum to the XT550 manual to work on a 43F, and an addendum to that addendum for the 34L Tenere.

But there is a quite comprehensive Haynes manual.

Tiny hijack here...

As a new 43F owner that's about to refresh the bike, what are some improvements to look to do? I've beed combing through threads and haven't seem any standout items.

For example, swapping out 43F parts for later models.

It depends on your brief. So what will you use the bike for?
Some period improvements were to put a decent sized tank on and to remove the brake disk guard, and put a pannier rack on it for touring use.
The headlight gets a bit brighter when switched bia a relais, as well as the horn.
The model already comes with a button operated choke, but the petcock can be swapped for an Acerbis one or a later WR type, which are easier to operate and have a replacable seal.
For better looks you can swap mirrors and indicators for more decent sized items.
And the side stand can use a wider base to work in sand or mud.

If the rear shock is not up to its task look into a Wilbers. Stainless steel downpipe. Keep the original muffler if possible, legal replacements tend to result in less low rpm power, but the original downpipe tends to fail at the head connectors due to severe rust issues.

No. The original parts are fine. Tenere problems were with the successor model 1VJ, where the fuel tank and intake placement restricted cooling.
