Need a replacement engine for a XT600 1VJ,mine has a ruined crank and crank cases so I would good bottom end would work,Im in the Milton Keynes
but happy to collect from anywhere in the UK.

Dont limit yourself to a 1VJ though think 3AJ and 3TB and 4PT if you dont mind getting a CDI also. I am not sure if you 1VJ Side casing will fit a 3AJ but maybe?

I most probably have a bottom end but will need to find it and dont know the condition of it.

I assume a short bottom end is ok and you dont need stator casing etc? What is your mechanics like of your e.g. drive shaft etc.
I definately have a matching pair of 3AJ engine casings but I doubt if these will take 1VJ internals.

Poor supply of 1VJ parts is a bit of an issue these days.
Saw a rough one in Germany for 1700, had a mind to buy it for parts I need and part out the rest. It sold very quickly though, I imagine to a breaker.

I have a 3tb engine that was adapted to my 3aj (stator + left side cover adaptation). It has 40k km, runs very well. I've kept it for another restoration project that finally will not take place.
I wasn't thinking selling it but it if someone could make good use of it, why not ...
