I'm in search for an air filter frame and retaining clip for an '84 Tenere.
Its the plastic and mesh frame that I'm after, not the foam element. Item 12 on the parts page.
Part number 34L-14458-00 I think it was used on later models too but not certain.

Make sure you have no high points in your brake line after it leaves the master cylinder. Air rises to the highest point and can get trapped and hard to displace.

Would anyone know the yamaha code or colour name for the red used on the 39E frame.

Everywhere I look they are NLA so hopefully someone has a used one kicking around.
I think I can get a K&N but they base their price proportional to availability, besides would prefer original.

Also, looking at Yamaha supplementary service manual 39E-28197-60 which starts at #39E-000101 and Yamaha supplementary service manual 53R-28197-20 which starts at bike #39E-004101, both books are written in English, French & Italian, 34L isn't mentioned, does that mean the model is actually 39E ...
