Glad to see many Tenere's still being restored! I sold all my parts to a lucky fellow for $500, truck and trailer full.
Still have my first resto 34L that I might sell as we are moving and retiring

Hi Scottie, before reassembly measure bolt length exposed when the bolt has been wound into the barrel, it should be shorter than the thickness of the head. Many times I have had head bolts bottom out , giving a false tensioning which blows head gaskets real quick. Some times there is debris in the ...

Still got my first rebuild 34L, will never sell her. She starts 1st kick every time. Got a couple of nice old girls that need some love, might have to do one for my son who is 17 now.

If you run a small bead of weld from a mig around the bearing face the outer shrinks and falls out.

Evening all, nearly finished my latest 34L but am chasing a baffle(spark arrestor) part number 34K14752-00 if anyone has one for sale. This resto has sucked up alot of money with NOS parts and will be for sale at a loss as usual :lol: Very happy with this one, matching numbers very low 39E000160 ...
