I'm sure they exist in Manila, somewhere, but not near me. My local shop cannot re cut seats. Yes, motorcycles everywhere. Very few are maintained. Fixed or scrapped when they break.

I have a 1vj onto which I intend to put on a 2kf head and barrel.

The head has worn guides. I can feel wobble. Some of that will be due to worn valve stems, but not all.

My question is, what's a tolerable amount of wear or is the manual specification the practical maximum?

So I suppose with new plates, OK basket and boss, and a new cable I've made it as good as I can get it. Glad to know that oil's OK. It will not be in there for long in this heat, anyway.
