My uncle had his spokes galvanised and it looks the part.

Good going so far Charlie. I've also knocked a hole in my pocket.

I'm also rethinking my logic about this whole kicker business. I was fighting fit and 22 when I last owned a kicker - I'm now 40, diabetic, over weight and so unfit even my postbox by the gate is out of range. Might sell the bastard ...
