Did you ever get a ride in those Fockers, er I mean Messerschmits?

I will go through photos and do some scanning. I am sure I have a photo of me doing a biggles thing in the komet sitting in between part A tank on one side and Part B tank each side of the pilot seat.

Looking like my front mudguard is coming by ship. Two weeks on and the guard has just left Germany.

I briefly thought of doing some work on the Tenere. I think it is in there some where. Andy Gadget has been on a buying spree

I wish they where.... Still waiting on the slow boat from Germany for parts. The boxes contain a tire changing machine for fellow in mate Andy Gadget. I collect his new toys while he is away at sea for work.

Really nice work Dan. I look at an engine in pieces and I feel like passing out...

One question though, where in South Africa did you get a cowl (around the headlight that is)?

I can safely say my resto is going to lag way behind this one...

Hi Big Ed, We all have to start some where. I bought the 43F NOS cowl of ebay (Mont Clair Motorcycles in Durban) The 34L ones seem to be very hard to find, So I went for one that I could get a 43F .

I have bought a few new hard to get bits off Rudi (321WMD.de), here is a 43F cowl http://tinyurl.com/428k6bv I also bought a new 34L front mudguard of Rudi as well.

One of my other parts arrived today, The one I didn't even know I was missing. The choke. Might be able to start the bike a bit easier with one of those.

DHL have just updated their website. Looks like the front mudguard has cleared customs in Sydney and the hand guards still have not left the starting blocks and are still with DHL in Germany.

Been having a bit of a mid resto crisis, I think. Sort have run out of puff and a bit tired of constantly waiting 6 to 12 weeks for parts from Germany. So I have left it alone for a while.

Dragged the Tenere out today and fitted the clutch and choke cables and started to fit the oil lines and cooler. Grabbing the best hoses out of the box to fit. Only to find the good hoses are 1VJ. Back to cleaning up the old 34L ones and I am a bit stuck on on how the lower oil line runs below the sprocket.
