Front mudguard spacers

Hi Could any one please show me what the spacers look like on the Tenera front mud guard, the guard on my bike was wrong, I have been able to get the right one but I have not been able to see what I need to make to support it, are the metal or plastic any info will be thankfully received, Cheers jjj

Are you talking about the inserts that go in to the plastic? Actionman & Bernieboy are due here at forum HQ on there 1VJ 's later today so i will look & ask them.

The collar that goes through the guard is part number 90387-06681, Powersports Plus have them for $2.51US each.

Both the lads are here right now with there 1VJ`s they trailered up here, we've been out & about around Tenere HQ today (Danny & myself following them in the Landcruiser).

Looked at both 1VJ`s mudgaurds this morning, one has 10mm spacers & the other has nothing but a different type of guard.
The spacer is to allow the wiring harness to pass under the headstock (hence spacers) but Daves bikes mudguard has a recess in in to allow for the wiring to pass underneath (so no spacers needed).

If your wiring loom looks trapped your going to need spacers, or just turn some up on a lathe or even just put half a dozen washers there (same difference).
