WHEEL CORROSION

Post by noisy toy »

Hi. I have a front rim with some corrosion starting but i think the rim is still ok. is there a way to stop the corrosion continuing, or is it in the bin?
Cheers,
shane

Some pics would help Shane, if your looking at corrosion from the outside take the tire off & it will be worse inside.

The corrosion is only on the inside. outside looks fine. It is the original rim off the bike. Is there a treatment that will stop any further rot? Would like to use the rim if possible.
