Headlights ?

Evening all so im currently restoring my 1988 Xt600 3aj. it's coming along nicely. One of the issues that is bothering me is the headlights. The silvering has all come off because of the rust. I wish to change the headlights. I did find an interesting topic on this "viewtopic.php?t=4194" using wesem lamps. The issue is im UK based, and to the best of my research wesem does not offer a headlamp suitable for UK roads. im wondering if anyone has suggestions ?

Maybe not what you were asking, but the 3aj uses the exact same headlight assembly as the fzr750 of the same era, which are cheap and plentiful on ebay second hand compared to 'tenere' ones and in much better condition usually. I replaced mine with one as the original 3aj one was knackered.

Thanks you, I have looked into this, and your information is much better than i was expecting i will be ordering a set asap. This will save me allot of time, and keep the bike original.
