Wanted: 1VJ Clutch Cover and other parts...
Hey Everyone. I picked up a '87 1VJ a month ago with the intention of a winter project. Unfortunately I had a mishap with the KTM 690 I built to ride in Africa so the 1VJ is moving up in the lineup and I am considering using it for my travels. I spent the past week looking over the issues with the bike and reading some forums and it still is in contention. I do however have an issue with the clutch cover / engine cover (right side). The current cover took a hit and has a crack from the previous owners unloading from a pickup truck. I used a Dremel to prep the crack and sealed it up with JB Weld but the mounting hole on that side has a small crack on it that if tightened took much will completely crack off. Does anyone out there know where I can source a good clutch cover for this bike? Maybe an idea on what other bikes might have a cover that will fit?
