the reservoir size might be a bit smaller on the brake one, would that be an issue?

The correct piston bore size of the master cylinder is important for the xt600 and the ebay ad does not mention that specific information. I learned the hard way in Mexico that using a smaller bore size means you will be trying to bleed your brakes for hours but will never succeed.
