Hi guys,
First of all I would just like to introduce myself. My name is Dean and I purchased my 2011 Tenere 660 Sunday.
I would to ask a question if possible about tyres. I would like to use the bike for greenlaning an realise the Metzler Tourance would not be up to the job.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Regards Dean

Re: Tyres
I also purchased a 2011 Tenere 3 months ago.
It came fitted with new Anakee Adventure Tyres.
I've only done about 300 miles on 'em due to Covid restrictions but I find them pretty good.
Pretty quiet on hard topped surfaces and very good on rough, loose dirt roads.
I think they're fine but like I said....it's early days.
ps I swapped to the Tenere after owning a 2008 KLR 650 for 5 years.
The KLR was a fine machine but the 660 Tenere is a few steps ahead.
I used Metzler Sahara's on the KLR and I would say there isnt much to choose between the Metzlers and the Michelin's I have now.
