Is this a 55W or a 34L tank?

Post by Strobeck »

Hello! I bought myself a 55w last year without decals. I've put on the 55w ones but they doesn't seem to fit properly so I might redo it. I asked the place where I got the decals from if it's the correct dimensions and they said yes but maybe I've got the wrong tank.

Can anyone tell if this is a 34l or 55w tank? The bike itself is a 55w according to the frame number and registration number.

On the black plastic on the seat it says 34L, but the 55w cover fits properly - confusing.

Thanks in advance!

/Alex

As has been said already.
The only difference on 34L and 55W tanks is the decals. You'll also find a lot of 34L parts used on 55W and 1VJ models.
