That chart shows a yellow at RAL 1026. This is suspiciously close to the "026" code Yamaha uses for Competition Yellow. Could it be that simple??? Yamaha aren't known for simplicity :scratch: , but the Japs are notoriously unoriginal in their thinking (I've worked for Toyota for 25 years ...

Competition Yellow is listed by ColorRite http://www.colorrite.com/product/yamaha ... y-1741.cfm just like the Fire Red frame color above.

Mezo, how were you doing the convert to RAL or Pantone?

Although converting Rand to OZ that's about $250 - still stealership territory!

The clamp gap isn't unusual. 1970's ...

The Suzuki bushes and seals won't fit the KAYABA (KYB) fork either. However, I recall that the 34L forks use the shorter bush (as does the TT350 with 43mm SHOWA forks) so the bushes you have will probably work in the 34L forks. It may be worth pulling those apart to check the condition of them ...
