Hey Burnie that jet that was blocked is the pilot jet, I had the same problem. Oh and the seat cover slowly stretchers after some use and the gap will close a bit, just the wrong pattern cover which means you really have to pull it tight to get the wrinkles out and in doing so you actually bend the seat up at the front.

Eric
That hard to find jet really stuffed me up! I now have a lot of oil smoke out of the exhaust. Worried I nipped it up by running lean and hot and done some damage to the bore. I am going to send in my new boroscope usb camera and have a squiz :sherlock:

Yes, at the back of the bore, but it is not really a score: more of a mark? :bigeek: Maybe I should do a couple hundred Kms :nordie: and see if it gets better. If not then a rebore as bore is std now.

I'd be seeing a doctor pronto about that deviated septum.
"Don't worry," he said, "things could be worse ........."
So I stopped worrying and lo and behold, things did get worse!

That's what I'd do. & a few more after that for good measure.
You've barely started running/breaking/bedding it in (or what ever you call it in Oz  )
